Nesreen Hassanin | Founder and Managing DirectorNesreen is an early years expert who has worked directly with children, staff and parents in the Middle East for the past 30 years. For three decades, Nesreen has used her skills to support colleagues who work directly with children, parents and their children; she is passionate about quality in the Early Years sector, making sure that children receive the best possible care to help them reach their full potential. Nesreen has shared her expert knowledge with various learning settings in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, as well as co-founding 2 nursery schools in Egypt. Her skills and expertise have been honed over the many years by further studying and receiving her CACHE level 3 diploma in early childhood education and her CACHE level 5 in leadership in managing early years’ settings from the United Arab of Emirates and completing her Masters in Leadership in Education from the University of Dundee - Scotland. With a rich career path, Nesreen has performed a wide range of roles such as managing nurseries, helping with nurseries start up and training staff. She is also the mother of two grown up children and this is why she is able to speak from the heart to parents and all those who care for or educate children and young people. Her passion drove her and her sister to co-tablish the Early Years Company which will not only offer a daily care service for children but to become the hub for all those who wish to learn and pursue a career as an early childhood educators and an advisor for parents and carers who seek a safe and healthy upbringing for their young ones. |
Lamia Hassanin | Co-Founder and Training ManagerLamia Hassanin is a highly experienced educational professional with a Master's degree in education and 23 years of managerial experience in the early years sector. As the Educational Coordinator for Early Years Company and a Managing Partner, she oversees the educational programs and policies, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality worldwide. Lamia's career began as a teacher in a local nursery, where she excelled in creating engaging environments for her students. She then transitioned into managerial roles, where she developed and implemented tailored educational programs and provided training and support to teachers. Lamia is certified as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and a Parenting Coach, reflecting her commitment to inclusive education and support for children with diverse learning needs. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Lamia grew up in a family that valued education and community service. Her passion for working with children led her to pursue a degree in education and a Master's degree in Leading Teaching and Learning. Lamia's personal philosophy centers around the belief that all children, regardless of their background or ability, deserve high-quality education and care. She is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments and providing ongoing support to families and caregivers. |
Ann Osman | Trainer and AssessorMy name is Ann Osman. I am 49 years old and have been working in Early Years education for 27 years. I am a Cairo University graduate, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, class of 1995. I acquired a "Child Psychology" diploma at the ICS (International Correspondence Schools). The ICS is a member of the "Association of European Correspondence Schools" in Scotland. In addition to my Montessori Degree from the UK, between the years 1999 and 2001. Last but not least, I have completed my professional leader program from Edupedia in 2018. I am currently studying for my Masters in Education at the University of Liverpool which I am hoping to complete in June 2024, in addition to the Vocational Assessor Certification also from the UK.I have spent the last 17 years working with the British National Curriculum at Egypt's largest British schools, so I am quite familiar with its aims, objectives, and approaches. I spent eight years working with the American curriculum in a facility that served students with exceptional needs who were integrated into the educational system. I am now Winchester British International School's academic coordinator for the early years. During my childhood, I also attended one of the biggest British Schools in the Middle East, and was an active member of the school band. I have traveled as a student with the school band to attend the EMAC Fine Arts Festival as a trumpet player in 1990. Currently, I have administered a variety of workshops to the staff working within early years, such as classroom management, implementation of Montessori methods within our curriculum, identifying children with special educational needs and new staff training. |
Bassent Barsoum | Center Coordinator and AssessorBassent Barsoum has started working as an Early Years Educator right after completing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC). She worked for 3 and half years at The Baby Academy, before joining The Early Years Company, in 2017 and have been part of its family to-date. She completed the Professional Educator Diploma program, specialized in Teaching Early Years Learners, from AUC, in Spring 2019. As a way to expend her expertise and a boost to climb the leadership ladder, Barsoum was selected to join EduHub Teacher Training Center as the Center's Coordinator and Assessor. She is currently enrolled in the Vocational Assessor Certification from BRITEthink Academy, UK. Her utmost satisfaction is witnessing her students progress and helping peer teachers and educators reach their full potential. |
Robert Mitton | Internal Quality Assurance OfficerRobert started his career in learning and development through corporate training before qualifying as an assessor and IQA for the delivery of courses ranging from leadership, management and digital skills. Since then, he grew into the moderator/ end point assessment role for British apprenticeships and developed his own vocational training centre which supports vocational training quality assurance and Edtech services. Having grown up around his family’s business of a nursery school chain in northern England, Robert has the occupational knowledge of running and managing early years settings alongside his people development and assessment skills. |
