Welcome to EYC elite team of Early years educators. Our mission together is to create a safe, playful learning environment from the age of one to age five years old.
We are committed to offering a concrete and hands-on learning experiences, developing independency and mastering age-appropriate life skills of children. We will work together to create a community that cherish and respects play as the best mean of development for children. A place where children are free to explore with all their senses and understand the need for safety to enjoy playtime happily. Our CurriculumEYC adopts the Early Years foundation stage curriculum as a guideline for the milestones and development children should achieve at every age group.
It is always referred to the curriculum as the long term planner aiding the teacher in selecting the objective aimed to teach during the course of the academic year. |
EYC manages American University in Cairo Daycare centre on behalf of the AUC Human resources Department. We are bonded to offer an impeccable service than serves working parents in and out of the community.
The Preschool serves on weekdays from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and follow the AUC administration vacation calendar. Children from the age of one year old -must be walking- to the age of 5 years are welcomed to the Daycare and all are served equally. We support the AUC community with seven classes of play-based learning that creates young learner who are eager to explore the world in new and different ways. After-school Program of the Daycare is also responsible for hosting children up to the age of 10years old for after school support and child-minding service. Children in the after-school program are welcomed on daily basis or occasionally with a maximum capacity of 10 per working day. Seasonal Camps (Summer & Winter) is one of the most popular activities the Daycare centre runs. Children between 4-8 years old are welcome to join our programs. Capacities for the enrolment varies based on the rooms booked during the period of the camp. Room occupied are mostly on the AUC main campus, children enrolled use the Daycare facility for outdoor play and meals time. The Daycare Centre is considered a customer service facility as well as an educational one too. In the heart of the management, we believe we are to support working mothers and make their life easier but never on the expense of safety, health or quality of our service to the children in our care. It is expected from team members to teach the children basic home and life skills to become more independent and helpful members in their smaller communities. |
